Clogged Sink

Don't you just hate getting a big wad of something stuck in your sink?
What do you mean, "Am I talking about you?" Of course I am, silly girl!
Oh okay, you are so cute, I suppose you can stay in there for a little while...

Carousel

Bronwen begged Mimi daily to take her to the carousel at the mall, so after a couple of days we obliged. Bronwen picked which animal she wanted to ride on, and after a brief wait, the carousel started up. Immediately Bronwen was a bit scared, despite her previous experiences, but she stuck it out and after the ride wanted to go again.

Where is the Fire?

T.J. spent yesterday at Lowes with Bronwen constructing a toy fire truck. As a bonus, they received a couple of fireman's hats and a look at a real fire truck. As you can well imagine, Bronwen was super excited to receive an urgent call from a concerned citizen (me) that there might be a fire in Lila's room. Luckily the "fire truck" was ready to go, so Bronwen hopped on and away they sped.

Good thing the Junior firefighter Lila had arrived and saved her room from the blazing inferno.

Potty Training Helpers

Once yet again I have bravely decided to embark upon the adventure known as "potty training." So far with little success, despite Bronwen's sometime-willingness to sit on her potty. The child has a bladder the size of a water tower, I am convinced, since she went from 8-1:30 today with nary a drop in the potty or elsewhere. I finally had to put a diaper on her for nap time. Anyhow, over the weekend, T.J. tried to help as well, sitting and reading to her while she sat.

Amusingly enough, one of the stories she wants read to her is called, "Little Pea."

Today, even Lila tried to encourage her sister to go in the potty. Bronwen liked having Lila there, but still...nothing came out.

Happy Days

Aunt Jana sent the girls another package--I wouldn't have posted this necessarily, but I find the funniest part is Lila in the background.

Birdwatching

The chirps you hear in the background are the hummingbirds coming to our feeder. They will come right up despite our being out there.

Sleepy Time

Nap time is always a special time at the house--the girls go down, I turn off the phone, and we all enjoy some peace before the hectic evening.

Lila has been bursting out of her swaddle lately, so I ordered a new, pink one. I think it's her color.
She was a little lonely, so Cassie decided to keep her company.
Bronwen, on the other hand, likes her friends much closer. Here Mr. Owl is kissing her goodnight. I want to add that this is exactly how I found her--I didn't place him here.
