B-TV

It has been awhile since I took some video footage of Bronwen, so here it goes. I don't think I had a specific purpose in mind, but whenever I let her do her own thing, it ends up surprising--for instance, I had no idea she knew how to "Buzz."

A snapshot of Bronwen first thing in the morning:
Just to see how tall she has gotten!

Tailgating at LSU

LSU vs UGA
I did not attend this one--stayed at home to work on TJ's birthday gift.
The cold start to the day meant Bronwen had to wear TJ's hat. Says quite a bit about TJ's small head and Bronwen's ginormous cranium.

Bronwen and her cousin, Sydney.

Bronwen didn't get to see the live Mike the tiger, so the bronze version had to suffice.LSU vs. Alabama

This one I was there--Bronwen eats her bananas with a fork, while Uncle Johnny watches in amazement. "Will a candy bar be next?" he wonders.

She points to the tiger, says "Tiiiger."And then she growls. "Groooooowwwwl."

Sadly, LSU lost both of these games. Coincidence, I'm sure.

I'm a Model, You Know What I Mean

Yes, I was out for the morning, I don't even remember why now, and I return to photo session remnants in my bedroom. Bronwen knows how to work it!

Tell me what you think--do you agree with Jana that we belong in a JC Penny catalogue? (A back-hand compliment saying we're hopelessly cheesy...)

Something tells me it's all happening at the Zoo...

Bronwen and I met our friends Summer and Owen at the zoo yesterday. I was really impressed with Baton Rouge's zoo. First, it was extremely affordable, and second, it was on the small side which is perfect for a morning trip. Here, Owen and Bronwen prepare to see the animals.
Here we are posing in front of the spider monkeys, who showed us how to pick bugs off your friends and eat them--the bugs, not the friends that is. What can possibly be holding their attention?
An otter!

Bronwen's favorite part of the trip, I think, was getting to ride in Owen's car. She barely noticed the giraffes behind her.I think she liked the elephants MUCH more .And as we were leaving, we fed the biggest goldfish I have ever seen. They were prehistoric. These two black-necked swans came over for some food as well, and as I was leaning over brushing food into the water, one grabbed my finger and bit the #*$&^ out of it. Yes, I got bitten by an animal at the zoo. I have a bruise and everything. Good thing it was not Bronwen!

All in all, a great morning! We made it home around lunchtime, and then we had naps. The only sad part was not getting to see any tigers or lions--the display was closed due to construction. We'll just have to go back!

Slave Labor

Does it count when she obviously enjoys it?

Halloween!

Warning: A ridiculous number of photos are to follow. Cuteness overload may be a result. The author of this blog is in no way responsible for any injury sustained due to too much smiling, laughing, or happiness sustained while viewing the pictures below.

We decided to take Bronwen trick-or-treating a little early, and it was quite sunny outside! First we tried to get some pics in front of the house. I was trying to show her where to sit.

She was just too excited to actually sit down in front of the pumpkins, so we snapped a standing picture.
T.J. made the next attempt, showing Bronwen the camera and telling her I wanted a picture. Bronwen was just as happy to stare at her daddy. Finally we gave up. She grabbed her bag and was ready for some candy action! T.J. took her down the street to get some sugary loot. After they hit a few houses and the sun was more cooperative, our neighbor took a family picture.Only then did Bronwen at last decide to sit with the pumpkins and smile .
The lion growls! We hope you all had a great Halloween!
