Get Ready

Computer is back up and running, so be prepared for the onslaught of blog postings that will be coming your way--I just need to wait for T.J. to upload the pictures. Oh, and they are good....

Holding Lila, Etc.

I believe this was about a week ago; Bronwen just came up to me and told me she wanted to hold Lila. I was thrilled, since she had shown no such desire up until now. So T.J. quickly staged the scene. The first pictures I am posting on here were taken after all the other photos were shot. I am including them on here because Bronwen was the one who set up these shots and took them as well. I present to you the first in the "Frog" series, by Bronwen:

Big Freddie and Little Freddie

Here Lila goes solo--she may look a little lopsided, but she is the one who insisted on sitting like this. I think she was worn out from all the modeling.

And now, for the photos that you all have been awaiting with bated breath--my girls!

Lila With One Chin

Hot off the presses! While I was playing with Bronwen, T.J. staged a tummy time photo shoot with Lila. Here is my girl going one-on-one with gravity. Some have been commenting on her chubby cheeks, and while she does look like she's hiding acorns in them when lying down, when she is lifting her head up, only one chin is evident.
Already she is practicing her wry grin.

Lila's New Trick

There we were, just doing our morning routine, working on tummy time, and bam! Lila does this! (this video is actually the second time, so Bronwen is kind of coaching. The first time it happened, Bronwen was lying right in front of her on the blanket. I need a Go-Go-Gadget video camera to catch those moments!)

Yay! Roll Over!

Art Project (updated)

T.J. and Bronwen went outside after dinner one night, and they worked on some projects in the garage. The next day, while T.J. was at work, Bronwen announced to me, "I wanna do a project." I asked her what she wanted to do, and she said, "Wanna glue something." And that was the beginning of this project. We first began with the painting, and then I asked Bronwen what she wanted to put on the paper.

She decided she wanted to make a school bus, kind of like we made a long time ago. I am amazed by her memory. So we began putting the school bus on the paper. I do realize that the way she painted her paper looks as if the school bus ran over all the children instead of picking them up, but T.J. kindly pointed out that instead of carnage, the red represented the red clay dirt that all of us who have lived in NC know quite well.

Finished product, covered up because it is fully functional.

After we were finished, I went to get Lla who was waking up. I cahnged her diaper which made her so happy.

Bath Time

This is the first video I have taken of Lila in the bath tub. I had another one, but sadly I had to sacrifice it to make space for another video I took this week. All shall be revealed soon enough, trust me. It's been terrible not being able to blog! My ladies have been quite busy, and I have tons of pictures on T.J.'s camera that are even better.

Down in Fraggle Rock

Computer Update: Our Mac has been replaced, but in doing so, the cord that connects the monitor to the computer no longer fits into our "new" Mac, which basically means I have two working pieces that just don't fit together. This is very frustrating. Ergo, I decided to attempt to upload pictures straight to TJ's laptop. Hopefully I can get a couple of things up here before the wireless drops me, which it tends to do.

So without further ado:

I did a post a long time ago where I mentioned how Bronwen resembled a Doozer from the Fraggles. Well, folks, my little tot is growing up, and now she is full-blown Fraggle size. Hm, i wonder which one she looks like now?

Apologies

I have some great pictures that we have taken this week--one with my girls actually in contact with each other--but until our computer is fixed, I am afraid I cannot please my adoring fans. You know who you are, Jana.

So I humbly apologize for this unplanned sabbatical. Plenty of updates soon!

Mowing the Lawn

Bronwen does not mow our lawn, just to be clear. This video was captured this evening when T.J. went outside to mow, and Bronwen and I were inside having a snack. Lila was sleeping.

This first one gets cut off because I ran out of memory space. I deleted some old videos and then had plenty of room.

I warn you, the ending of this isn't pretty. Hello to the terrible twos.

Some Video...

T.J. took Bronwen to the park yesterday after dinner, so Lila and I had some time to catch up.

And this morning, to show how grown up my Bronwen is!
