Lila's First Hair Cut

Lila was a little nervous about her first trim. She watched Bronwen intently as Bronwen got her hair cut. I had to hold her hand for the first 30 seconds or so, but after that, she was fine.

Bronwen's Hair Cut

The last hair cut Bronwen had was in April 2010. Since then she has wanted it to grow and grow. When I finally convinced her it was time to go to the beauty shop she insisted that she wanted it cut as short as her Daddy's. This was not going to happen...

Hair Cuts!

Taking Bronwen and Lila in for haircuts today. I already snapped a before picture--going to work on the after! I will also document with video :-)

Perspective

Lila has had a fever for a couple of days, and on Monday morning she woke up telling me she had "butterflies" in her eyes. I had no idea what she was talking about until I got a good look at her: she had crust and goop all in her lashes. Poor little thing! Luckily the goo pasted only one day. Yesterday was better and today was totally clear.

Bronwen was sitting in my lap while I put her hair in a ponytail, and she says to me, "Mom, your legs are prickly. " There was a slight pause, and she added, "Like a cactus."
