Adam is Here!

Seems like our third child decided to be right on time. Adam Timothy was born right on his due date, December 7th, at 10:17 am. He weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 22.5 inches long.

I went into labor around 1:30 am. The doctor at my appointment the previous day had mentioned he thought the labor would go fairly quickly, so when my contractions were coming regularly right off the bat, I was a little concerned about getting to the hospital on time. Mom sped over to the house, and T.J. and I were at the hospital by 2:30 am.

Since I was already at 5-6 cm, they admitted me and took me to my labor, delivery, and recovery room:
Labor stalled, more than likely a result of getting the epidural. No big deal, as T.J. and I got to relax for a bit, T.J. even catching a little shut-eye. At 10:17, little Adam decided to make an appearance:
