I decided to make some strawberry shortcake last week, and T.J. and I discovered that Lila has learned some other new things.
She can climb to the bottom step of the step-stool:

She revels in the view for a bit, until...
She learns about whipped cream!

I can't believe how big my sweet Lila has gotten. She is going to be harder to niece-nap at this point. Must go make new plans...
I was expecting the worst when I saw that glass bowl of whipped cream sitting precariously on the edge of the counter! :)

A budding cook AND a tool girl. She is perfection. Where was her sister during all of this?
During the chair repair, Bronwen was napping. During the shortcake tasting, Bronwen was eating her dessert :-)
